Bio

Nicole Welindt is a Supreme Court and appellate advocate whose work spans a range of substantive areas, including arbitration, constitutional law, statutory construction, employment law, and preemption.

Before joining Skadden, Ms. Welindt was a fellow in the California Department of Justice’s Office of the Solicitor General, where she worked on cases before the U.S. Supreme Court, the California Supreme Court, and other appellate courts. She also argued appeals before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit and the California Court of Appeal.

Ms. Welindt clerked for the Hon. M. Margaret McKeown of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit and for the Hon. Gary Feinerman of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois.
