Bio
Caroline Jaffer has extensive experience working on insurance matters and liaising with regulators in both the U.K. and internationally, having practised in both the U.K. and the Middle East.
Prior to joining Skadden, Ms. Jaffer worked at the Bank of England, where she gained unique insights as a lead insurance regulator within the U.K. Prudential Regulatory Authority (PRA) and as a legal adviser in the Bank of England Legal Directorate.
During her time in the Legal Directorate, Ms. Jaffer advised internal stakeholders on a broad range of matters regarding the prudential regulation of insurers, including the recently finalised PRA rules adopted pursuant to U.K. Solvency II reforms.
