Rita Sinkfield Belin advises on the Hart-Scott-Rodino Act (HSR) review process required to obtain federal antitrust approval for various types of acquisitions, including large, complex M&A and joint venture transactions.
Bio
Ms. Belin counsels on reportability and transaction structure issues and works closely with clients to develop and execute an efficient, compliant and complete filing strategy that ultimately receives federal clearance. She has extensive experience representing companies worldwide across a wide variety of industries, including automotive, financial services, food, health care, insurance, energy, retail, entertainment and technology. Ms. Belin serves in leadership roles on several bar associations, including the leadership team for the Section of Antitrust Law of the American Bar Association and the executive committee of the Antitrust Law Section of the New York State Bar Association. She frequently co-authors Skadden’s client alerts regarding regulatory developments surrounding HSR provisions.
