Rita Sinkfield Belin

Ms. Belin counsels on reportability and transaction structure issues and works closely with clients to develop and execute an efficient, compliant and complete filing strategy that ultimately receives federal clearance. She has extensive experience representing companies worldwide across a wide variety of industries, including automotive, financial services, food, health care, insurance, energy, retail, entertainment and technology. Recently, she has advised Vectrus, Dentsply, Permira, Veritas, BlackRock and Mars.

Ms. Belin has leadership roles on several bar associations, including the leadership team for the Section of Antitrust Law of the American Bar Association and the executive committee of the Antitrust Law Section of the New York State Bar Association. She frequently co-authors Skadden’s client alerts regarding regulatory developments surrounding HSR and assists with updating the leading treatise on HSR rules and applications, "Acquisitions Under the Hart-Scott-Rodino Antitrust Improvements Act."
