On November 20, Skadden hosted the webinar “Navigating Post-Election Political Law Challenges.” Speakers included political law compliance and investigations head Ki Hong and partner Charlie Ricciardelli. The program distilled numerous post-election political law issues and considerations, including managing contributions during recounts and special elections, understanding transition and inaugural expenses, the potential pitfalls when assisting transition teams, restrictions on employment negotiations with government officials and post-employment restrictions for former government officials, among others.
