Bio
Amanda Raymond Kalantirsky represents clients in international arbitrations conducted under ICC, ICDR, LCIA and other arbitration rules, as well as in federal and state courts in the United States. Ms. Raymond Kalantirsky regularly advises clients on issues relating to international dispute resolution, including forum selection, extraterritorial discovery, and enforcement of judgments and arbitration awards.
Ms. Raymond Kalantirsky’s litigation and arbitration experience includes representing:
- a U.S. electricity company in a multijurisdictional dispute relating to the construction of a natural gas power generating station, including an ICC arbitration;
- a Japanese telecommunications company in an LCIA arbitration resulting in a $1.2 billion award against an Indian company;
- a non-party European bank in post-judgment enforcement proceedings in the Southern District of New York;
- Chilean companies in a post-acquisition dispute over the purchase of mining assets in Chile, arbitrated under ICC rules in New York; and
- a Canadian company in an ICDR arbitration against a U.S. company concerning a supply agreement.
