Joshua Rabon represents a wide range of clients on international tax matters arising in cross-border restructurings, mergers and acquisitions. He also regularly advises clients regarding legislative and regulatory proposals related to international tax provisions.

Bio

Before joining Skadden, Mr. Rabon was an attorney in the IRS Office of Associate Chief Counsel (International), serving as the principal drafter of several regulations, including one for which he received the IRS Chief Counsel Award for research and writing. In addition, he handled requests for private letter rulings and provided legal advice to the IRS on international tax topics.

In recognition of his work, Mr. Rabon has been named an Associate To Watch by Chambers USA and was selected as one of Best Lawyers’ 2024 Ones To Watch in America. Mr. Rabon is a frequent speaker on international tax issues and has been published in Tax Notes Interna­tional. He currently serves as an adjunct professor of law at Georgetown University, where he teaches advanced international taxation.
