Arlene A. Newton
Bio
Ms. Newton also works on wealth transfer planning strategies, advising clients on the benefits of grantor retained annuity trusts, sales to grantor trusts, qualified personal residence trusts, family limited partnerships and limited liability companies, life insurance trusts and dynasty trusts. In addition, she has worked with nonresident aliens regarding planning for property in the United States and other cross-border planning opportunities. Ms. Newton has extensive experience working with family offices. She has been repeatedly named to Chambers High Net Worth.
Ms. Newton served on the Committee on Estate and Gift Taxation of the New York City Bar Association and is a member of the American Bar Association and the New York State Bar Association, Trusts and Estates Law Section. She previously was a fellow in the Leadership Council for Legal Diversity’s Fellows Program, a yearlong leadership and professional development initiative.
