J. Christian (Chris) Nahr

Drawing on more than 20 years of experience, Mr. Nahr represents financial sponsors in both acquisition financings and financings for their portfolio companies, developing practical and innovative solutions in connection with many of their most significant matters. He skillfully navigates transactions involving dividend recapitalizations, restructurings, hybrid structures, private credit and direct lending. He represents clients across many industries, but has particularly significant experience in technology-focused matters, including those involving SaaS businesses.

Mr. Nahr has been repeatedly recognized in Chambers Global, Chambers USA, The Legal 500 and IFLR1000 for his banking and finance work.

Prior to joining Skadden, Mr. Nahr was head of the global finance practice at another global law firm.

Mr. Nahr’s recent experience at his prior firm includes representing multinational corporations, private equity sponsors and their portfolio companies, including Permira, AEA Investors, Goldman Sachs, RedBird Capital, CVC Capital Partners and New Mountain.
