Bio

Lilybelle Davis advises strategic and financial buyers and sellers in connection with mergers, acquisitions, spin-off and other corporate matters, including the formation of joint ventures and strategic partnerships. She also handles corporate governance, private equity and securities law matters. In recognition of her work, Ms. Davis was named one of Best Lawyers’ 2025 Ones To Watch in America.

Ms. Davis has recent experience in a wide range of transactions in a variety of industries, including:

  • Squarespace, Inc. in its $7.2 billion going-private acquisition by Permira Advisers
  • DuPont de Nemours, Inc. in its announced plan to separate — via tax-free spin-off — its electronics business
  • Revance Therapeutics in connection with several transactions, including its:
    • merger with Crown Laboratories
    • amendment to its commercial agreement with Teoxane S.A.
  • E*TRADE in its $13 billion all-stock acquisition by Morgan Stanley
  • DuPont in its $1.75 billion acquisition of Spectrum Plastics
  • Trane Technologies in its acquisition of Nuvolo
  • Castik Capital in the combination of its portfolio company Waterlogic Group Holdings with Culligan International, a BDT Capital portfolio company
  • eToro Group Ltd. in its pending business combination with FinTech Acquisition Corp. V
  • JPMorgan Chase in the sale of its blockchain platform Quorum to, and concurrent strategic investment in, ConsenSys Software
  • The Blackstone Group in its sale of Exeter Finance to an investor group led by Warburg Pincus
  • Pine Brook Capital Partners in its investment in Better Mortgage and investment in Fair Square Financial Holdings LLC
  • Sierra7 in its acquisition of HMS Technologies
  • HPS Investment Partners in a variety of corporate matters

Ms. Davis serves on Skadden’s New York Associate Recruiting committee and is actively involved in the firm’s training, recruiting and summer associate programs. She also provides pro bono legal services to New York-based clients, including early-stage nonprofits and individuals seeking asylum or citizenship in the U.S.
