Preparing for the 2025 Annual Meeting and Reporting Season

On December 12, Skadden co-hosted the event “Preparing for the 2025 Annual Meeting and Reporting Season” with Equilar and the Northern California, Hawaii & Nevada Chapter of the Society of Corporate Governance. The program was part of our SEC Reporting and Compliance and Corporate Governance Series. Skadden speakers included U.S. ESG head Raquel Fox and West Coast executive compensation and benefits head Page Griffin. External speakers included representatives from ServiceNow, PJT Camberview and Equilar. The panelists reviewed takeaways from the 2024 proxy season, including “say-on-pay” results and other compensation developments; new SEC filing requirements and other proxy disclosure considerations; trends and developments in ESG disclosures, including preparing for California’s climate rules; SEC rulemaking; and predictions for the 2025 proxy season.
