On November 12, shareholder engagement and activism head Elizabeth Gonzalez-Sussman will participate in the panel “The Proxy Parade: How To Make the Case for Each Board Member and Build Confidence in the Company,” hosted by FGS Global. The session will explore how board directors can effectively prepare themselves and their boards for activism and proxy battles. The discussion also will focus on best practices in tailoring board member bios to a company’s current situation; articulating the role of each member; and describing how boards work together to provide guidance, set strategy and oversee a company’s management.
