On November 25, shareholder engagement and activism head Elizabeth Gonzalez-Sussman spoke on the panel “Governance and Shareholder Activism” as part of PLI’s 22nd annual Directors Institute on Corporate Governance. The panelists reviewed universal proxy implementation, current trends in shareholder activism, risks and benefits of board-level engagement with activist investors, and the upcoming 2025 proxy season.
