On October 29, financial institutions regulatory co-head Mark Chorazak participated in the panel “Securitization Markets: Regulatory Update” as part of PLI’s New Developments in Securitization 2024 conference in New York. The discussion explored regulatory guidance on banks’ risk management practices over third-party relationships, changing capital requirements and capital relief trades, the spike in regulatory interest in fair lending, states’ crackdown on online lending and the increased scrutiny of securitization trusts, among other topics.
