On January 31, Skadden hosted part five of the Firm’s SEC Reporting & Compliance and Corporate Governance Series, “Key Trends in Executive Compensation.” Speakers included New York executive compensation and benefits partners Shalom Huber and Joseph Penko and counsel Genia Gokhmark. Topics included recent SEC activities, including rulemaking, guidance and enforcement; proxy advisory firm updates for 2024; considerations regarding the upcoming Section 162(m) expansion; and anticipated developments pertaining to Dodd-Frank Section 956 and noncompete trends, among other topics.
