Global Merger Control: A Discussion on Strategic Planning

On June 27, Skadden hosted a webinar focused on strategic planning for merger control issues, including a review of key developments from the past 12 months. European antitrust/competition co-head Fred Depoortere moderated the discussion. Skadden speakers included Asia Pacific international competition head Andrew Foster, London antitrust/competition partner Aurora Luoma, Brussels partner Giorgio Motta and New York partner Maria Raptis. The panel considered the impact of divergence and convergence among agencies in the U.S., the EU, the U.K. and China, as well as the importance of aligning strategy across the four major jurisdictions and beyond.
