Tax partners Trever Allen and Paul Schockett spoke at PLI’s Tax Planning for Domestic & Foreign Partnerships, LLCs, Joint Ventures & Other Strategic Alliances 2023, on May 9-11. Mr. Allen discussed the rules regarding the dispositions of partnership interests and partnership distributions in a variety of contexts. Mr. Schockett spoke on changes in tax law under the Inflation Reduction Act of 2022, specifically the newly expanded and extended tax credits and the book income AMT.
