On June 2, Skadden held a webinar titled “Investing in Europe: The Immediate Implications and Lasting Impact of COVID-19,” focusing on foreign investment control, industrial policy and merger control issues during the pandemic. An introduction to the webinar was provided by Skadden partner Ingrid Vandenborre. The panel discussion was moderated by Financial Times EU correspondent Javier Espinoza. The panelists included Maria Martin-Prat, director of investment and services in the European Commission Directorate General for Trade, as well as Skadden partners Pascal Bine, Frederic Depoortere and Matthias Horbach.
