28th Annual Conference on Fair Lending and Consumer Financial Protection

On April 20, Skadden’s Consumer Financial Services Group held its 28th Annual Conference on Fair Lending and Consumer Financial Protection as a webinar. Topics included fair lending and UDAAP (unfair, deceptive, or abusive acts or practices) enforcement actions, developments at the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau and other agencies, new regulations and legislation, consumer enforcement priorities, emerging risk issues related to COVID-19, adapting fair lending testing to machine learning and artificial intelligence, and fair lending risks in digital marketing. Speakers included consumer financial services head Anand Raman, counsel Austin Brown and Darren Welch, and associates Nicole Cleminshaw and Andrew Hanson.
