Navigating Emerging Issues in E-Discovery

On April 17, the firm held a webinar titled “Navigating Emerging Issues in E-Discovery.” Skadden speakers discussed current issues and developments in e-discovery, such as privacy (including considerations in e-discovery after the EU’s adoption of the General Data Protection Regulation; technology (including guidance from the courts and strategies regarding the use of technology-assisted review); and electronically stored information (including considerations for addressing information that resides on mobile devices, as well as in the cloud, messaging applications, social media and personal email accounts). Skadden speakers were partners Richard Bernardo and Gretchen Wolf, discovery counsel Giyoung Song and Steven Shankroff, assistant director of legal technology global operations.
