Global executive compensation and benefits head Regina Olshan and New York executive compensation and benefits partner Erica Schohn participated in “Hot Issues in Executive Compensation 2018,” a PLI seminar that was scheduled September 21 in New York. Ms. Olshan was co-chair of the seminar. She made opening remarks and spoke on a panel titled “Life After Code Section 162(M) and Other Tax Developments,” which focused on transition rule guidance, the effect of lower corporate tax rates on executive compensation, how tax reform has impacted the actual compensation practices of companies and incentive compensation plan design ideas. Ms. Schohn participated in a discussion titled “Pay Ratio Post-Mortem and Other SEC Developments,” focusing on this year’s pay ratio disclosures, developments in Dodd-Frank rulemaking, responding to negative ISS recommendations, the interplay of risk oversight and compensation, and the future of long-term incentive plans.
