Skadden Adds Luke Ferrandino as Chief Business Development and Marketing Officer

Skadden is pleased to announce that Luke V. Ferrandino is joining the firm as chief business development and marketing officer. Mr. Ferrandino, who previously served as chief marketing officer for another global law firm, will lead Skadden’s efforts to drive growth and enhance its market presence across the firm’s practice areas and offices worldwide. His focus will include client development and experience, brand awareness, communications, market trends and analysis, and training and support.

“In today’s rapidly evolving legal world, it has never been more important to differentiate a firm’s reputation and ensure that the breadth and depth of its capabilities are consistently front of mind for current and prospective clients,” said Skadden Executive Partner Jeremy London. “We are thrilled to welcome Luke to Skadden and confident his wealth of experience will bolster the momentum behind the firm’s strategic growth. As we continue to position the firm for long-term success, Luke’s leadership will be critical to supporting our efforts to deepen existing client relationships and pursue new areas of opportunity to advise clients on their most challenging and complex legal matters.”

“I am a longtime admirer of Skadden and what the firm stands for: best-in-class legal expertise and exceptional client service,” said Mr. Ferrandino. “I am excited to work closely with the firm’s talented attorneys and business services professionals to ensure Skadden’s elite capabilities and commitment to excellence are well recognized in the market.”

Mr. Ferrandino is an industry veteran with more than 20 years of business development and marketing experience across four leading global law firms. He received his MBA from Fordham’s Gabelli School of Business and his B.A. from Gettysburg College.

Skadden’s chief marketing officer, Sally Feldman, who announced last spring that she plans to retire after 35 years at the firm, will transition out of her role to pursue an opportunity in the public sector.
