The transaction is the world’s largest-ever technology and gaming technology deal, largest-ever all-cash public company deal and Microsoft’s largest-ever acquisition. A March 20 profile noted that Skadden “hit a new threshold for dealing with regulators” when our team overcame significant hurdles in obtaining U.S. and U.K. approval.
