Skadden is serving as U.S. legal counsel to a consortium led by Genetron Health’s co-founder and CEO in a merger agreement in which Genetron Health will merge with Genetron New Co Limited (a subsidiary of New Genetron Holding Limited) in a deal valued at $126 million. The surviving entity will become a wholly owned subsidiary of parent company New Genetron, which will be beneficially owned by the consortium.
