Skadden is representing First Gen Corp. and its wholly owned subsidiary Red Vulcan Holdings Corp. in Philippines Renewable Energy Holdings Corp.'s (PREHC) tender offer to acquire up to 31.7 percent of Energy Development Corp., the Philippines' largest renewable energy company. PREHC is controlled by Macquarie Infrastructure and Real Assets (MIRA) and Arran, an affiliate of GIC of Singapore. The deal is valued at 64.5 billion Philippine pesos.
