Ambev to Exchange Latin American Businesses With Anheuser-Busch InBev

Skadden is advising Ambev S.A. on the transfer of its beer businesses in Colombia, Peru and Ecuador to Anheuser-Busch InBev SA/NV. In exchange, Anheuser-Busch InBev will transfer to Ambev the SABMiller plc beer business in Panama that Anheuser-Busch is acquiring in its previously announced acquisition of SABMiller. The transfers are conditioned on the closing of Anheuser-Busch's transaction with SABMiller.
