The Pro Bono Institute presented Skadden with the 2014 John H. Pickering Award on November 6 in recognition of the our long-standing and remarkable commitment to pro bono. PBI noted the development of the Impact Projects across many firm offices that focus on increasing the positive effect of pro bono work on the communities in which Skadden lawyers live and work, as well as our work on numerous asylum-related cases over more than two decades.
