Skadden secured the dismissal of an amended class action complaint alleging consumer fraud violations by firm client Estée Lauder and challenging advertising claims for the company's Advanced Night Repair products. On August 26, Senior Judge Edward R. Korman of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of New York dismissed the unjust enrichment and breach of express and implied warranty claims with prejudice, and the state consumer deception statutes claims without prejudice.
