Second Circuit Affirms Dismissal of Discrimination Lawsuit Against Capital One

On March 13, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit affirmed the dismissal of a putative class action lawsuit against Capital One Financial Advisors involving allegations of discriminatory mortgage lending practices. The court concluded that the lawsuit was barred by an earlier class action settlement that involved similar allegations.
