Skadden will receive four M&A Advisor Turnaround Awards on March 11. The awards honor the top business and legal advisers in the distressed investing and reorganization industry in 2013. The M&A Advisor recognized Skadden in four categories, including:

- "Out-of-Court Restructuring Deal of the Year (Over $1 Billion)": Restructuring of Travelport
- "Chapter 11 Reorganization of the Year (Over $1 Billion)": Restructuring of Central European Distribution Corporation
- "Distressed M&A Deal of the Year (Over $100mm to $1 Billion)": Acquisition of Synagro by EQT Infrastructure
