On the eve of trial, Skadden secured the favorable settlement of a securities class action against Computer Sciences Corp. and certain of its former officers. The complaint alleged that they made false and misleading statements about the company's internal controls and its progress and prospects on a contract to provide an electronic patient records system to the U.K. National Health Service.
