Evonik Investors Sell Shares in Private Placement

Skadden represented a group of more than two dozen institutional investors in connection with a global private placement of shares representing approximately 12 percent of the share capital of German specialty chemicals maker Evonik Industries AG. This private placement, which closed on March 12, constitutes the largest-ever pre-IPO capital markets financing in Germany.
