Skadden is representing L-1 Identity Solutions in an agreement to be acquired by Safran for approximately $1.6 billion. In connection with the Safran transaction, BAE Systems, Inc. has agreed to acquire the stock and membership interests of the entities comprising L-1 Intelligence Services Businesses for a purchase price of approximately $303 million. The deals were announced on Sept. 20, 2010. L-1 provides services to protect and secure personal identities and assets.
