Litigation partner Richard Marmaro has been named to The National Law Journal's "Winning" list for his success in defending former Broadcom CFO William Ruehle in the largest stock options backdating case brought by the federal government. After a jury trial lasting nearly two months, U.S. District Judge Cormac J. Carney dismissed the indictment against Mr. Ruehle as well as several other Broadcom executives. The newspaper selected only 11 attorneys and said "each is the model of the modern litigator."
