Skadden is representing Wyndham Worldwide Corporation in its acquisition of Global Hyatt Corp. affiliate U.S. Franchise Systems and its Microtel Inns & Suites and Hawthorn Suites. The deal value was not disclosed. The deal, announced on June 2, gives Wyndham the combined 29,000 rooms of the two brands, 292 Microtel properties and 91 Hawthorn Suites properties. Wyndham is the largest hotel franchisor in the world with nearly 7,000 properties.
