Dow Jones & Company, publisher of The Wall Street Journal, has entered into a definitive agreement to be purchased by News Corporation for approximately $5.6 billion. Skadden is representing News Corporation. After weeks of negotiations, members of the Bancroft family, who represent 37 percent of the voting shares of Dow Jones, agreed to back the deal.
