Peter J. Neckles represents corporate borrowers and financial institutions in bank loan transactions, with an emphasis on corporate restructurings and refinancings, workouts, bankruptcy financings (debtor-in-possession and “exit” loans), bankruptcy reorganizations, acquisition financings and other highly leveraged financings.

In bankruptcy financings, Mr. Neckles has represented the owners of Aladdin Resort and Casino; Aurora Foods, Inc.; Birch Telecommunications, Inc.; Exodus Communications, Inc.; FiberMark, Inc.; Genuity Inc.; Grove Worldwide; Owens Corning; RCN Corporation; Refco Inc.; The Singer Company, N.V.; The Southland Corporation; Sterling Chemicals, Inc.; UDC Homes, Inc.; Viatel, Inc.; Vlasic Foods International, Inc.; Wang Laboratories, Inc; and Winn-Dixie Stores, Inc.

In other financing and corporate restructuring transactions, Mr. Neckles’ clients have included Amaranth Advisors LLC; Archstone; Babcock & Brown Ltd.; CMS Energy Corporation; Evergreen International Airlines Inc.; Foot Locker, Inc.; Freedom Communications, Inc.; The Great Atlantic & Pacific Tea Company, Inc.; Israel Hotels International, Inc.; ITC DeltaCom, Inc.; Mrs. Fields’ Original Cookies, Inc.; North American Membership Group, Inc.; Purolite Inc.; Rite Aid Corporation; Star Gas Partners, L.P.; TCBY Systems LLC; TECO Energy, Inc.; Tyson Foods, Inc.; Williams Communications Group, Inc.; The Williams Companies, Inc.; Wyndham International, Inc.; and Woolworth Corporation. Recently, Mr. Neckles represented Realogy Corporation in a corporate refinancing transaction and Interstate Bakeries Corporation (Hostess Brands) and Spectrum Brands, Inc. in their debtor-in-possession and exit financings.
