Linda Hayman leads the firm's Uniform Commercial Code and Secured Transactions practice. This area addresses personal property law, with special emphasis on those issues arising under Article 9 (secured transactions) and Article 8 (investment securities) of the Uniform Commercial Code.
Ms. Hayman has advised clients on commercial law and personal property transfer issues in connection with syndicated senior credit facilities, leveraged lease transactions, project financings, bankruptcy reorganizations, non-bankruptcy restructurings, real estate transactions, mortgage-backed securities, asset-backed financings and asset sales. Ms. Hayman counsels both borrowers and lenders, and regularly advises financial institutions, including banks, savings and loan associations and broker-dealers, as well as government agencies.
